NourishKC Community Meals

In addition to serving up to 500 meals a day at KC Community Kitchen, NourishKC prepares nutritious, scratch made meals that can contribute to or enhance programmatic efforts of other organizations. The cost of community meals can be a barrier to many organizations wishing to incorporate or improve meal service for their programs. That is why NourishKC created the Community Meals Fund. 

We partner with community kitchens, meal service programs, shelters, and other agencies that serve prepared food. If your organization is interested in incorporating or improving current meal service but are unable to cover the cost, please fill out NourishKC’s Community Meals Fund Application. Factors for consideration include the number of meals and duration they are needed, population served, and demonstrated need. Applications are reviewed and awarded on a quarterly basis.
